We will continue to follow CDC guidelines, among the guidelines and precautions we are taking are:

GETTING BACK TO OUR NEW NORMAL, AGAIN! We are once again able to hold our worship services inside the church.  Our Safety Team has mapped out the Sanctuary and developed a plan for us to return to inside worship services.  We will follow CDC guidelines and use these safety precautions:

For Worship Services:
1. All public areas will be sanitized before, between, and after services.
2. Everyone must bring and wear a face mask at all times. Gloves are optional.
3. Everyone must bring their own Bible. The pew Bibles and Hymnals have been removed and will not be available for use.
4. Your temperature will be taken upon entering the building.  If your temperature is 100.4° or higher you will be asked to go back to your car and you will be given directions on how to listen to the service or return home.  (A temperature over 100.4° is one of the symptoms of COVID 19)
5. Attendance will be taken at each service.
6. The ushers will escort everyone to their seat.
7. Hand sanitizer stations will be available.
8. Please do not congregate in groups.  “Social Distancing” of 6 feet must be adhered to.
9. On Communion Sundays (usually the first Sunday of the month) the Communion will be served in the pews.  A pre-packaged Communion serving will be in the pew when you arrive.  Please follow the Pastor’s directions for use.
10. Exiting the Sanctuary will be one row at a time at the direction of the ushers.  Again, please do not congregate in groups upon exiting.
11. Anyone not feeling well is asked to please not enter the building.  Stay in your car and call the Office if you need assistance on listening in from the parking lot, or stay at home and worship with us on Facebook, ZOOM, or YouTube.
12. The Media Team will continue to broadcast our services in the parking lot, ZOOM, Facebook, and YouTube.  Anyone who does not feel comfortable worshipping inside the church building, is always welcome to stay in their car or at home and use one of these platforms to participate in our services.

When visiting or holding a meeting at FUMC:
1. Everyone must bring and wear a face mask at all times while inside the building. Gloves are optional.
2. Temperatures will be taken upon entering the building.
3. Hand sanitizer stations will be available.
4. Please do not congregate in groups.  “Social Distancing” of 6 feet must be adhered to.
5. Anyone not feeling well is asked to please not enter the building.
6. Any gatherings inside the church will be limited to 25 people.  The chairperson/host/hostess of the meeting or event will be required to take everyone's temperature upon entering the building, to make sure that face masks are worn at all times by their participants, and to practice social-distancing guidelines.
7. We are trying to keep our staff safe.  At this time we ask that meetings not be held in the office.  The parlor is available as well as the youth room and both are air conditioned.
8. If you would like to hold your meeting remotely utilizing Microsoft Teams, please contact Josh Burger using the contact for located here. This can include video conferencing, a call-in number only, or a combination of both!

The above procedures will be in effect until further notice.
By following the CDC guidelines, we can not only do our part in stopping the spread of the COVID 19 coronavirus, but we can also stop the spread of other infectious diseases.
