Be a Cheerleader for Jesus

Hi my Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

Did you ever see the Youtube video of Family Feud host Steve Harvey introducing Jesus?  It is powerful.  It is not sacreligous at all.  In fact there is a lot of awe and reverence.  He does it on stage at a famous theater(of which I forget the name).  I have seen it a few times and it seems to me that if a Christian comedian can show that much respect to God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, then we church going people ought to do even better.  God is worthy of our praise, amen?  We say we believe that God is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, without beginning or end, and that God is love.  And so much more, therefore we should be praising God all the time, everywhere, with everything we have within us.  Bless God's Holy Name.  

Our cheerleading for Jesus should include our faithfulness in church attendance and participation.  Our tither should reflect our worship of the Creator, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, and Jesus the Christ, His Son our Savior.  Rah, rah, rah, sis, boom, bah!  However that goes.  There are so many reasons we should praise the worship the Son of God that we would be here all night making a list of them. Jesus, the Name above all names.  If someone were to pull us out of a burning car or house and save our lives wouldn't we feel great joy and gratitude whenever we would see them?  Wouldn't we introduce that person to everyone we could?  I don't know about you, but I would be telling that story over and over.  So it is with Jesus.

He saved us from an eternity in Hell.  He blessed us with peace, joy, love, health, wisdom, and so much more.  Yes, we owe Jesus our lives.  That means everyday we follow Jesus and teach others to do the same.  Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
