Bio of Pastor Bruce Judy

Hi my sisters and brothers in Christ,
Here is just a little about myself.  I was born October 7, 1955 in McKeesport, PA and raised in Port Vue where my father was a policeman and my mom found work wherever she could.  Bonnie, my darling bride of 38+ years was also raised in Port Vue.  We have 4 children: Justin who is married to Stephanie (Elijah and Johnathan), Jacob who is married to Julie (Lydia and Levi), Hannah who is married to Todd (Owen and Jordyn), Caleb whose partner is Patrick. Justin, Jacob, and Hannah are United Methodist pastors while Caleb works for children and youth services in Vermont.
I was raised Catholic until I was 13 and then we attended the United Methodist Church in Port Vue.  After Bonnie and I were married (2-11-78) we left the UMC and joined a very charismatic church in McKeesport.  Later, due to work, we relocated to Morgantown, WV and we went to Cheat Lake Baptist Church and then, still later, we went back to Port Vue United Methodist Church, again because of a change in work. I felt called to ordained ministry when I was 14 yrs old but I did not answer that call until I was 35, so I began the process into ordained ministry when I was 37 years old in 1993.  I am now 66 going on 100 (so it feels like it at times) and I love being in the ministry(most of the time).
I love humor, especially puns and I love doing things, especially living life outside of the box.  Lets be different, lets be bold in our faith, fools for Christ because we only get one shot at life so lets give God our very best and have fun while we are doing it.  After all, we know how it all ends. This world is not our home.  Another of my favorite phrases is: "We are not human beings having a temporary spiritual experience.  We are Spiritual beings having a temporary human experience."  No, it won't always be easy, and there will be times we have to make sacrifices, but that's ok because He did that for us.  So pray for the infilling of the Holy Spirit and let the good times roll and give them Heaven.
If you need me just holler.

God loves you and so do I,
Pastor Bruce
