Oh Wow!
I just spent 30 minutes typing this blog and I bumped a key and it all disappeared. Grrrrrr! It was a joy to see you over the holidays. We had a blast with Easter. Thank you to all of our volunteers who made it all possible. So many of you did behind the scenes work that most people will not know about. Again, I just want to tell you that you are very much appreciated by all of us, especially me. "Well done thou good and faithful servants". Now, some of you are not much on going to church and some of you may not be back until Christmas, but I want you to know that God loves you and so do we. We are family whether we see each other every month or just a couple of times a year in church. I just want you to know that you are missed by me. We could have so much fun turning the world upside down for Jesus. Really! It is a blast doing what the world least expects. Turning the other cheek is only a part of it. Loving your enemies in creative ways is fun. Together we can feed the hungry(food bank here), we can clothe the naked, supply them with furniture, dishes, household items, coats, shoes, etc through our give-aways, give away toiletries via our Blessing Box outside, give away gifts to motorists as they drive by(that freaks people out), and invite them to play volleyball in our gym, basketball, attend scouts, get creative during out annual talent show, and the list goes on. Saturday nights we have a free dinner while playing live contemporary music and worshipping the Lord. We have dances, support groups, Bible studies, youth groups, drama/plays, and we are always looking for new ways to color outside of the lines for Jesus.
Please join us in person or online as we live out God's call to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to a hurting world. Help us to love the unlovable. Together we can do anything. Since we know how it all turns out in the end there is nothing to worry about. Join us and we can have fun together.
God loves you and so do I,
Pastor Bruce
