Post Holiday Blues?

I am back!  Whew!  The holidays were amazing.  Lots of fun, lots of sharing, lots of food, and totaling exhausting.  Church was wonderful.  I hope everyone felt the same because I really wanted everyone to enjoy Christmas like a child.  I think it is important for us to have a childlike faith in order to take God at His word.  So I hope you got what you wanted for Chirstmas and not what you  Imagine if God gave us what we deserved.  Ouch and Oh NO!  I am sure there are people who feel they deserve rewarded and that is because they are using their own standards of  measure.  That is wrong!  Life is all about God's way or the highway.  As you may be able to tell I am feeling a bit nostalgic today.   I am both sad and glad that the holidays are over.  Time to change gears and focus on other parts of our walk of faith.  Lent is coming up soon and then our focus will be on getting our spiritual house in order as we anticipate Easter and the Resurrection.  Getting involved in the seasons of the church is really fun, exciting, and empowering.  There is so much to do and learn.  One thing we all have in common is the saving of lost souls.  We tell them about Jesus, we show them Jesus, and we love them to Christ.  Being creative about how we do all of that is what energizes me.

So, what joys do you have?  What did you get for Christmas that really floats your boat?  Movies that you recommend?  Have a wonderful 21019.  Get involved in the ministry of the church.  Prepare for Easter.  Love on another and give God all the glory.  God loves you and so do I.
