My Dear Friends,
Have you ever had one of those days? Have you ever awaken from a deep sleep and wondered what day it was or what was going on that day? I have and sometimes it takes a few minutes to get my thoughts organized. Usually that happens when I get too many irons in the fire, aka. really busy. Believe it or not I can multitask. Of course not as good as my wife can multitask. She listens to a book, plays solitaire, eats, knows what is going on around her and will still holler at me if I get up and leave a dish on the table. All at the same time. She is amazing. We have some voluteers here at the church that can operate at that high level of performance too. They are usually the ones who wear multiple hats. I have to be careful that we do not burn them out because that is not good for them or their families. Then there are those people who do one thing at a time. That is okay too because they are singularly focused they are usually good at the details. Everyone has a purpose in life. Ephesians 2:10, "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Whether you can multitask or not there is still something you can do for the kingdom of God. What is God calling you to get involved in? What is your hearts desire that will bring glory to God? That is more important than what anyone else wants you to do. Put Jesus first in all of your decision making and He will guide you. Seriously! Have a wonderful day. God loves you and so do I.
